‘Painterly’ Images 2.

A continuation of Painterly Images Part 1.

Sometimes a photo lends itself to being given a ‘painterly’ look. For the most part, I apply this ‘vibe’ very subtly, as seen below, with some more ‘impressionistic’ than others. The creative process gets me up in the morning! 😁

I love the evocative compositions of early Pictorialist photographers, like American Alfred Stieglitz (1864-1946), and the Belgian Léonard Misonne (1870-1943), who drew inspiration from and, in turn, inspired artists.
