Montagu sunset, helped with some residual smoke from recent fires in the area.

I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but I did get her permission.

Deep, dappled shade at the local nursery.

Peeping into other people’s gardens. Agapanthus are synonymous with summer, here in the Cape.

Textures under the Gluebum trees.. 😜

More textures.

Bowl’s Up! A gentle offshore breeze for the bowlers.

Bowling green with a view.

Another image for my silhouette series.

The waiting room, looking out towards the mountain and the morgue, over some boxes of freebies.

The feeling that someone, or something, is watching you! See no evil..

It’s great to have a friend..

.. who also enjoys photography.

Smoky haze from nearby fires.

I thought it was an acacia, which it isn’t, but I still need to ID it. Anybody?

Symbiotic relationship

Juxtaposes. I do take lots of photos of poles and pylons; I’ve yet to figure out why.

Our street lamp shines directly onto the garden and stoep. The Municipality painted half of the light black on request, within three days!

When one has time on their hands.

A ‘bokeh’ pole.
