A Brief Story About a Cat and Missing Photos.

Quick story about mighty Zeus, the rescue cat. Not my cat, btw. (Right now I'm pet ie. dog-free, for the first time in about 35 years, and taking a breather.)

Zeus sitting on my desk; I took a quick snap of him for fun. He was learning his way around Lightroom.

A while later, I returned and saw that my laptop screen had changed. Interesting.

On closer inspection, I see he'd managed to somehow delete my entire 2026 photo folder! Thank utter goodness for the recycle bin! There all 207 edited photos were safely sitting. If it had been my 2025 folder, it would have been permanently deleted, as it is too large for the recycle bin, and then one can only hope the backup works.

The last two pics are the ones Zeus ‘edited’.. 😅
