Reflections..

As a surfer, a few things need to align for a decent surf: swell size, swell direction, high or a low tide depending, wind speed & direction, and more.. Lack of crowds and warm water is a huge bonus!

Much the same for these photos, but with a different set of variables required, including a wind-free day, bright sunlight, and a bonus of colourful boats.. :)

(These images are in a 1:1 aspect ratio, ie square, but can be resized to fit other spaces if necessary).

Titled "These Three Agree", this incredible artwork by SA artist Caroline Jordaan (oil on canvas, 120 by 120cm), is currently on auction at Strauss Art with bids starting from R35k, estimated price 40-60k.

The wonderful green of the Highland Queen, a long-line fishing boat, used mainly for catching hake, to go with those slap chips!
