Table Mountain..

As a proudly born-and-bred Capetonian, this beloved chunk of rock almost brings a lump in my throat whenever it comes into view, whether from land, sea or sea!

This shot required a hurried stop, before the rapidly approaching rain squall coming in from the right obscured Table Mountain completely..

Such a grand sight!

The city at dusk..

Our omnipresent mountain..

Table Mountain as a child ;)
This Mini-Me is actually just outside Clanwilliam..

The backside view of TM from Kommetjie..

The cheesy, but enviable view from Milnerton..

Taken while caught in the stop/go traffic jam into town..

And just when you thought you were safe.. :)

Kiters paradise..

Zooming in on this pastoral scene, just outside Cape Town..

..and out a bit, to include our national flower, wilting in the summer sun.

Power to the people.. and an ostrich.

Our nuclear power station, Koeberg, is just off to the right, feeding these lines.

These folk have one of the best views in town. In ten years, this might well be different.

A quick snap from the car, a bit risky to stop here!

A pretty crumby photo, but the cable station was appearing in and out of the table cloth, so I stopped to take a pic..

A tale of two mountains- one of rock, the other, rubbish.

This shot ideally required a tripod. To compromise, I gave it a painterly edit..
