St Helena Bay is the home of South Africa’s pilchard factories. The Glenryck, Lucky Star and Saldanha factories are all based here.

Meet you at Jomar’s Corner for coffee, opposite the Glenryck tin.... It’s our equivalent of Big Ben.. :)

The mist was incredibly thick! Two similar minimalist images, the more conventional one above..

Two of the oldest houses (read ruins), in St Helena Bay..

I’m assuming it is a heritage site..

They both have had tacky extensions done over the years.

I will find out, but I think they’re about 300 years old.
